HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE symbol: HCC) announced today that
the Company’s 2006 earnings announcements are expected to be released on the
following dates:

November 2, 2006 |
The
earnings announcements will be made after the market closes with a
conference call following the announcement at 4:00 p.m. Central Time to
discuss the results. Conference call information will be made available on
the Company’s website approximately two weeks prior to each call. Each of
the conference calls will also be made available by webcast through the
Company’s website.
